1. Let’s start the interview now. Tell me about yourself.

2. You indicated in the survey that you take vacations domestically. Tell me some of the places you like to travel and why you like going there.

3. Can you tell me all the things you do in order to prepare to take a trip?

4. Tell me about some of the trips you took in your youth. Where did you go? Who did you go with? And what did you see or do during those early trips?

5. Tell me about the hotels in your country. What are these places like?

6. Tell me what you typically do when you go to a hotel. What do you do first, second, et cetera? When do you usually stay in hotels?

7. People often have memories of especially beautiful or interesting hotels. Tell me about a hotel that you remember for some reasons. Where was it? What did it look like? Describe it for me in as much detail as possible.

8. I would like to now talk about where you live. Can you describe your home to me? what does it look like? How many rooms does it have? Give me a description with lots of details.

9. There are always problems which happen in any home. Things break, projects do not go as planned, people you live with don’t cooperate. Tell me about some problems or issues that would happen in your home.

10. Pick one of those problems you just mentioned and explain to me everything that happened. Start with when it happened and anything that may have caused the problem. Then explain in detail everything that you did to resolve that problem.

11. I’d like to give you a situation and ask you to act it out. Your friend has just told you about a cool new website. Call your friend and ask three or four questions about this new site.

12. I’m sorry. There’s a problem which I’ll need you to resolve. When you tried to visit the site, your friend has recommended, nothing comes up. Call your friend and explain what happened. Then make some suggestions as to how you might get to see the site as soon as possible.

13. That’s the end of the situation. Have you ever had a problem while you were surfing the Internet? Maybe the site you were looking for was not available. Maybe you lost your Internet connection. Tell me about a time when you ran into some kind of problem trying to surf the Internet. Tell me everything that happened as well as what you did to fix the problem.

14. Tell me what your favorite pub looks like.

15. I would like to go to bars when I’m away on vacation. Ask me three or four questions about my experiences.
